In 2016 I was so fortunate to be asked to take the Director's position here at CrossPoint Preschool. I have been teaching in early childhood learning centers since 2005. I am extremely passionate about early education and have over 16 years of experience. My goal is to continually grow in mind and spirit to establish the best learning environment and teaching strategies to help guide your child spiritually, academically and socially. I am so blessed to be here in Missoula where I have lived for over 7 years. I moved over in 2014 after marrying my wonderful husband. He has 3 children and we are a fun, loud and crazy blended family and pray daily that God blesses us with a baby. I consider it a wonderful honor, blessing and privilege to work with children. It is my mission as director to create a safe, loving, top-notch program where children can learn, grow and be loved like Christ loves us. |
My name is Maria Woodford and I am the original founder of CrossPoint Preschool. I have over 18 years of experience in early education and my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children, seeing them blossom and grow and being a part of their journey as they reach different milestones. In my down time I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family. I love snowboarding and hiking with my family and dogs. I am married to my amazing husband Mitch and we have two beautiful children, Darren and Ariana.

My name is Kim Johns and I teach the Wolves Class (Pre-k class) at CrossPoint Preschool. Ive lived in Missoula for over 28 years and after 11 years of working in a law firm I had an opportunity to work with children and found my passion. This was my "nudge from above" and i absolutely love every minute of my day. My favorite part of the day is being greeted with so much hugs and loves from the children, I really can't think of a better way to spend my day. The opportunity to talk and teach about Jesus Christ and His love for life and His children is the icing on the cake for me! Children are so inquisitive, curious and honest and those qualities alone make them such excellent teachers and learners!
When I'm not teaching Pre-K you can find me in my happy place which is on my deck, sitting on my porch swing where I love to read and relax. My favorite activities are camping, floating the river and riding my motor-scooter. I also love teaching Sunday School at my church.

My Name is Missy. I teach the Fox class here at CrossPoint Preschool. I have worked in early education for years and have filled many roles, from director/owner to preschool teacher. I love what I do and am thankful that I can teach the children about Jesus and His love for them. One of my favorite things to do as teacher is story time, encouraging reading at a young age is vital for their development and growth and I love making it fun and exciting for them. In my down time you will find me and my husband training wild mustang horses and competing nation wide. I truly am so blessed and thankful to be working with preschoolers and thank God that I can be a part of their journey.
